The Box Office Assistant is responsible for delivering customer service in a friendly and professional manner by selling tickets for current and future productions; facilitating collection of pre-booked tickets; answering questions to the best of their knowledge; ensuring a smooth box-office experience; answering questions and ensuring a smooth front-of-house experience.
This role is ideal for friendly, organized individuals who enjoy working with the public and supporting live events. Box office manager will work out a Rota for when they would need to come in. Some staff work more remotely organising ticket sales from a computer at home.
What skills do I need?
Basic computer skills
Be competent when dealing with cash and credit cards for the theatre bookings.
Good with figures
Enjoy working with the general public.
