Job Title: Co-opted Governor Volunteer basis - 4 Year term of office 9 meetings a year. Usually 5-7pm on a Thursday. Plus a few visits to school in school opening hours. North Lancing Primary is on an exciting journey to become an exceptional school. We are committed to fostering an inclusive, dynamic, and supportive learning environment. To support this mission, we are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our governing board as co-opted governors.

**Role Overview:** As a co-opted governor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the strategic direction of our school. You will work closely with other governors and the leadership team to ensure the school is effectively managed and provides high-quality education for all students.

**Key Responsibilities:** - Attend and participate in governing board meetings (usually 9 per year) - Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies - Support and challenge the leadership team to ensure the school\\\\\\\'s vision and goals are met - Monitor the financial performance of the school and ensure funds are used effectively - Engage with the school community, including students, parents, and staff, to gather feedback and insights - Participate in school events and activities to support the school’s mission and vision
