We would like to recruit volunteers to join our committee and become a Charity Trustee, overseeing the running of the Playgroup and Stay and Play sessions, including supporting the Manager and the care of the other staff members. We are specifically looking to fill the Secretary role as this is currently being fulfilled by the Manager in an acting capacity. We would also welcome volunteers who might be able to support with organising or helping out with occasional fundraising events or who simply have an interest in supporting a local community group
What skills do I need?
Business support, recruitment and personnel experience would be welcome, but having an interest in the wellbeing of local children and their parents and carers is of more importance as is wanting to be a part of and helping to support the local community.

Availability Details
Potential Trustees would need to be available on up to four weekday evenings a year for committee meetings. There are occasional weekend fundraising evnts (usually twice a year). Meetings to organise associated admin paperwork and online form filling can be arranged at a mutually convenient time. If volunteers wished to help at the Playgroup or Stay and Play, they would need to be available on a weekday morning/afternoon during term time.
