Bereavement support and counselling available locally in Adur, and a group meets regularly in the Old School House, Shoreham by Sea; contact Cruse or AVA for more details We have three Cruse branches in West Sussex: Chichester & Arun Branch Mid-Sussex Branch Worthing & District Branch. There are around seventy trained Bereavement Volunteers within the branches who give their time freely to Cruse. Each volunteer will have attended a minimum of 60 hrs professional training and attends regular ongoing training. Some volunteers have been specially trained to work with children and young people aged between 5 yrs – 18 yrs; this is always done with parental consent. All volunteers are supported by a Supervisor who they see on a regular basis. The branches work independently under the umbrella of Cruse West Sussex Area which in turn is part of Cruse South East Region which is overseen by our National Office based in London
