We could go on and on! Anything to do with the outdoors, camping or nature, we’ll bet you Scouts do it. All that’s missing now? You. Our Scouts Team Members are the movers and shakers in our Scout groups. By this we mean they have big barrels of energy, bold activity plans and bright ideas. You’ll learn how to pitch a tent, light a campfire and build dens. Or, maybe you’ll try out juggling, sketching or parascending. It’s not just our young people that gain skills for life, but our Team Members, too. Scouts is open to everyone and that includes our amazing volunteers. We know you have something to bring to the team, whether that’s your excellent cooking skills or even just a big smile. Go on, give it a go. We’re sure you’ll never look back.

This is an adult volunteer role (18+) - DBS check required
Free DBS check through The Scout Association. Unfortunately, we are unable to use the DBS update service if applicable at present - Disability and Access Support

We are a welcoming group of volunteers who support one another in our teams, as well as having the support of a Group Leadership Team - Training provided
Initial online training if required for this role via The Scout Association\'s membership system. Further in-person and online training is also available to develop your leadership skills, your ability to work with young people, or to learn new skills on land and on the water! - Volunteer induction

Availability Details
Our Scouts meet on Friday evenings (19:00 - 21:00), with volunteers arriving around 30 minutes before to set up and briefly staying at the end to tidy up
