They’re all about nurturing skills, providing a helping hand and making our volunteers’ experiences life changing. This is an adult volunteer role (18+) - DBS check required
Free DBS check through The Scout Association. Unfortunately, we are unable to use the DBS update service if applicable at present - Disability and Access Support

We are a welcoming group of volunteers who support one another in our teams, as well as having the support of a Group Leadership Team - Training provided
Initial online training if required for this role via The Scout Association\'s membership system. Further in-person and online training is also available to develop your leadership skills, your ability to work with young people, or to learn new skills on land and on the water! - Volunteer induction
You will receive a series of introductory learning, as well as a welcome conversation on starting with us, in ensure you are happy in your role and confident in how to carry it out - Volunteer Policy

Volunteers who complete their induction are regarded as full members and are covered under insurance via The Scout Association - Wheelchair Access
